During setup, after Alexa asks for a dream, you can simply say the phrase. You do not need to keep saying “Alexa, ask I’m Dreaming.”

Scheduled Alexa Routine

Scheduling is handled in the Alexa app. Save your dream board first, then use the Start I’m Dreaming task in an Alexa Routine.

You can choose a quiet part of the night, or use a general window suggested by your sleep tracker if you use one. Sleep trackers estimate stages, so this does not need to be exact.

Alexa app → Routine → Add action → I’m Dreaming → Start I’m Dreaming Alexa, ask I’m Dreaming to review dream board Alexa, ask I’m Dreaming to play dream board Alexa, ask I’m Dreaming to start over

Most people only need launch, add dreams, save, playback, and the Alexa Routine start. Everything else is optional.
